| I am an artist and artisan who carves
sculpture and architectural ornament in the tipycal
limestone of Lecce, the beautiful province where I was
born. |
| After my studies, I quickly migrated to
the study and creation of sculpture. I soon realized
that this art form provided the vehicle, inspiration and
freedom to realize my visions. |
| Currently my main working medium is the
local stone of Lecce Pietra
Leccese and I have a preference for works
inspired at the famous Baroque style of this place. |
| Living in the province of Lecce, you will
soon realize thet there are friezes and pinnacles,
capitals and caryatids, balconies and portals as far the
eye can see. |
| Since many years I work togheter with my
two yunger brothers Marcello and Pierpaolo and we all are
stone-cutters with tradition at heart. The knowledge of
the stone and the craftmen's ability in its working has us
been transferred for generations. |
| This long tradition, which we prize highly,
has allowed us to create hundred of figures and Original
statues, which represent today the basis of our vast
repertory. |
